What is the Cedar Mill Group Advantage and how can it benefit you?

The Cedar Mill Group Advantage or CMGA is a custom design / build process that incorporates the customers vision and turns it into reality. Our state of the art design software can provide you a 3-dimensional photo-realistic rendering, site and floor plans or even a real-time movie walk through of your project. It can also compile a detailed estimate based on product selections, revised drawings and on-site analysis by the construction team and specialty trade contractors. The Cedar Mill Group Advantage is a program that was developed to clearly identify how to achieve the best results within the project design and selection process. The program is comprised of various phases aimed at simplifying project development.

Brief descriptions of the phases are:

Phase I - Conceptual Design

Document the existing conditions using photos, measurements, sketches, computer renderings and 3D layouts.

Phase II - Design Development

Compile a detailed estimate based on product selections, revised drawings and on-site analysis by the construction team and specialty trade contractors.

Prepare and submit a final construction agreement outlining the project details, final drawings/renderings, approximate duration and payment terms.

Phase III - Construction Documents and Permitting

Prepare final drawings for permitting and scheduling. Provide structural to-scale drawings of all project components including framing plans, cross sections and specific project details. Upon acceptance of the construction agreement, the production department schedules the start date and construction begins.
