Cedar Mill Group Wins Gold at 2008 Cornerstone Awards!

We here at CMG are proud to announce our first place win at this years prestigious cornerstone awards.

Some remodeling projects present special challenges. Take for example this 1970's split level home with two bedrooms, a sewing room and the main bathroom all crammed into 521 square feet, including an 8 foot stretch of hallway with five door openings! The bathroom itself was only 60 square feet! A wall had been taken down between two small rooms years ago just to allow enough room to get a king sized bed in!

The challenge was to come up with a design that would create a true master suite, a full master bathroom and a walk-in closet.

Take a look at the master suite gallery on the website to view images from this project. The first thing you notice as you walk down the hall toward the master bedroom-three doors instead of five. Next, you enter into an incredibly warm and inviting master bedroom, with plenty of room for the king sized bed, two night tables and two full dressers. From there you enter the walk-in closet with 26 linear feet of hanging space and wire shelving. There is also a private entry into the spacious new master bathroom, complete with Acryline® Roma personal bubble tub, custom Panaria porcelain tiled shower with a shaving shelf, two shower heads with individual controls and a hand-held shower, and a dual pivot clear glass shower door. The floor is tiled and the room is warmed with radiant heat. The Heritage Mission Style oak vanity sink cabinet, linen cabinet and mirrored medicine cabinet provides the room with a modest touch of vintage class.
